An AI coach for credit-union wealth advisors

About Practice Reflections

A CoachingOurselves product

Practice Reflections gives you a private, fifteen-minute coached reflection — for the conversations that matter most in your members' lives. Each module walks you through a core advisory challenge in your own voice, on your own time, with no compliance recording.

The origin story

We started by studying the major practice-management frameworks you already know. We found they all rest on a handful of principles first laid out by the cooperative-credit founders — Alphonse Desjardins in Canada, Edward Filene and Roy Bergengren in the US.

So we went back to the source. The AI coach is trained on those founding ideas: how to ask, how to listen, and how to advise with the member's interest at heart. It guides your reflection on the conversations central to your practice — from handling the volatility call to discussing held-away assets as a form of service.

“Not for charity, not for profit, but for service.”

Alphonse Desjardins, founding principle

This approach means Practice Reflections complements the framework your credit union already runs — Hartford, Carson, RPA, or your own. The modules reinforce the foundational principles those systems share, helping you apply them in your weekly work with members.

How a session works

You pick a module that fits your day. The coach sets the scene and asks a single open question. As you speak, the coach listens, occasionally sharing a brief story from the co-op founders. You finish with a one-page summary for your records and one concrete action to try in your next member meeting.

Custom modules for your credit union

The six core modules are universal — they develop the underlying advisory competencies through reflective practice. Your credit union can also commission custom modules tailored to your specific accreditation requirements, vocabulary, and member archetypes — a francophone version for the Caisses Populaires, a module for small-business members, a reflection on serving young families.

Continuing Education

The six base modules are reflective coaching sessions — they develop the underlying advisory competencies but are not structured as CE courses. For credit unions that need formal CE delivery, we build custom CE-structured modules per account, designed to meet regulator-specific accreditation requirements.

A CE-structured module differs from a reflective module in three ways:

Each completed CE-structured module issues a verifiable PDF activity record showing the formal activity name, seat time, knowledge-check pass, and a unique verification ID. For credit unions that need formal FP Canada CE accreditation, we then bundle the modules into one-hour curriculums and apply for pre-approval through the FP Canada CE Approval Program — Financial Planning — Professional Skills, and Professional Responsibility / Ethics. Advocis CLU / CHS / PFA holders typically receive the same credits through reciprocity once FP Canada approval lands.

Honest disclaimer: we do not claim “eligible for FP Canada CE” until an approval letter is in hand. When that path is pursued for an account and the letter arrives, this page will say so directly.

Privacy

Your conversations are private. You control your data — delete any reflection whenever you want, and everything is automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days, whether you delete it or not. Your conversations are never used to train AI. Only you see the final written summary.
